Lord revive us, Lord, save Your people,
Lord revive us, Those who go forth weeping, will come again with joy.
Hosea 6
1 Come, and let us return unto the LORD: for he hath torn, and he will heal us; he hath smitten, and he will bind us up.
2 After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
4 ¶O Ephraim, what shall I do unto thee? O Judah, what shall I do unto thee? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.
5 Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of my mouth: and thy judgments are as the light that goeth forth.
6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.
7 But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously against me.
8 Gilead is a city of them that work iniquity, and is polluted with blood.
9 And as troops of robbers wait for a man, so the company of priests murder in the way by consent: for they commit lewdness.
10 I have seen an horrible thing in the house of Israel: there is the whoredom of Ephraim, Israel is defiled.
11 Also, O Judah, he hath set an harvest for thee, when I returned the captivity of my people.
Joel 2:12-14
12 ¶Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.
14 Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?
Revelation 3:1-3
1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Psalm 85:6-7
6 Wilt thou not revive us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
7 Shew us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.
Hosea 14:1-4
1 O Israel, return unto the LORD thy God; for thou hast fallen by thine iniquity.
2 Take with you words, and turn to the LORD: say unto him, Take away all iniquity, and receive us graciously: so will we render the calves of our lips. [sacrifices of our lips]
3 Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.
4 ¶I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for mine anger is turned away from him.
I believe that the church needs a new infusion of life. We need to be revived! We need to be set free! Have we grown complacent in our comfort? Have we decided that we've come far enough? We've been victorious in the past, so that ought to do it, right? We then fall into the same temptations that we've overcome before because we think that we've overcome it before so we won't ever fall to it again. Have we lost our love for God? Where is the church that once hung on every Word? Where is the church that used to rejoice in testimony of God's greatness? Where is the church that was on fire for God? Lord revive us!!!
He says that He will, if we come and repent!
"I will heal their backsliding, I will love them freely: for my anger is turned away from him."
Come! There is a new day! God will fill you with new life! He makes all things new! It doesn't matter how big or small your own separation from God has become—it doesn't matter how big or small the issue in your life has become that draws you away from His Heart—He desires to have you back in perfect fellowship and unity. He will heal you! Come and Repent! Call out for revival!
Hosea 14:9
9 Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of the LORD are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors shall fall therein.
Lord revive us, Those who go forth weeping, will come again with joy.
